Common Questions & Curiosities:

I’ve never done Breathwork or Kundalini work before. Is this okay for me? Absolutely! This is a "gentle rebirthing" style of breathwork, meaning Emm will guide you through it at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system. You don’t need any experience—just an open heart and a willingness to breathe.

What exactly is "Life Force Awakening"? Think of it as a deep spring clean for your internal energy. Using breath and intention, we gently clear out the "static" (stress, old emotions) from your chakras and your power center (the Hara/Womb). It’s about feeling more vibrant and "turned on" by life again.

Is this session just for women? Not at all! While the morning session focuses on our creative centers (the Womb or the Hara), this day is open to all humans. Emm creates a beautifully inclusive space where everyone can feel safe to explore their inner world.

What is Blue Lotus Tea? It’s an ancient botanical tea used for centuries to help people drop into deeper meditation. It’s very gentle and caffeine-free, known for promoting a sense of "lucid relaxation" and helping the body let go of tension.

Can I just come for the afternoon Yin & Sound session? You sure can! While we love seeing people stay for the full journey, you are more than welcome to book the 3:30 PM session as a standalone treat to reset for the week ahead.

What should I wear? Think "cozy and move-able." Leggings, trackies, and layers are your best friend. Your body temperature can shift during breathwork and Yin, so bring a warm jumper or some fuzzy socks just in case!

What do I need for the 2-hour break? The break is yours to enjoy. Please BYO lunch (we’ll have space for you to eat at the studio), and feel free to use the time to chat with others or tuck yourself away in a corner with your journal. We’ll also have some light, mindful activities set out if you’re feeling creative.

What is Somatic Release? Somatic release involves simple, intuitive movements—like gentle shaking, stretching, or tapping—that help release "trapped" stress from the body's tissues. It’s a powerful way to move out of your head and into your body before we begin the breathwork.
